Становлення та розвиток палеонтології

Abstract

Палеонтологія є однією з наук, яка займає важливе місце у світовій історії, вона дозволяє дізнатися про історію зародження життя та його розвиток на планеті Земля. Палеонтологія вивчає вимерлі організми, намагається реконструювати за знайденими останками їх зовнішній вигляд, біологічні особливості, способи живлення тощо, а також відновити на основі цих відомостей хід біологічної еволюції. Об’єктом дослідження є палеонтологія як наука. Предметом дослідження є розвиток та становлення палеонтологічної науки. Мета роботи полягає в комплексному аналізі та порівнянні історичних фактів і причинно-наслідкових зв’язків, які вплинули на розвиток Палеонтологічної науки. Для реалізації поставленої мети сформульовано такі завдання: • визначити стан наукової розробки проблеми; • дослідити ступінь репрезентативності та інформативності її джерельної бази; • з’ясувати теоретико-методологічні основи роботи; • оцінити місце палеонтологічної науки в системі інших наук; • дослідити процес утворення скам’янілостей, їхні види та процес їх знаходження та дослідження; • проаналізувати етапи розвитку палеонтологічної думки. В різних країнах палеонтологічна наука розвивається по різному, палеонтологія добре розвивається в США, в країнах Європи та на Азійському континенті постійно проводять наукові дослідження і публікують наукові праці на палеонтологічну тему, а в Україні ця наука потребує розвитку. Розвиток і становлення палеонтологічної науки – це дуже довгий і цікавий процес. В процесі дослідження були виокремлені основні етапи (з хронологічними рамками) в розвитку цієї науки: донауковий, збирання перших палеонтологічних колекцій та їх перші інтерпретації та науковий періоди. І що цікаво, на початкових етапах, коли більшість науковців наділяли скам’янілості міфічними і містичними властивостями, висувалася теорія органічного походження скам’янілих решток, яка, разом з еволюційною теорією, допомагає вже в науковий період проводити реконструкцію розвитку життя на Землі. Paleontology is one of the sciences that occupies an important place in world history, it allows you to learn about the history of the origin of life and its development on planet Earth. Paleontology studies extinct organisms, tries to reconstruct their appearance, biological features, feeding methods, etc., based on the remains found, as well as reconstruct the course of biological evolution based on this information. The object of research is paleontology as a science. The subject of research is the development and formation of paleontological science. The purpose of the work is a comprehensive analysis and comparison of historical facts and causal relationships that influenced the development of paleontological science. To realize the set goal, the following tasks have been formulated: • determine the state of scientific development of the problem; • investigate the degree of representativeness and informativeness of its source base; • find out the theoretical and methodological foundations of the work; • evaluate the place of paleontological science in the system of other sciences; • investigate the process of formation of fossils, their types and the process of their finding and research; • analyze the stages of development of paleontological thought. In different countries, paleontological science develops in different ways, paleontology is developing well in the USA, in European countries and on the Asian continent, scientific research is constantly being conducted and scientific works are published on the paleontological topic, and in Ukraine this science needs development. The development and formation of paleontological science is a very long and interesting process. In the process of research, the main stages (with a chronological framework) in the development of this science were singled out: pre-scientific, collection of the first paleontological collections and their first interpretations, and scientific periods. And what is interesting, at the initial stages, when most scientists endowed fossils with mythical and mystical properties, the theory of the organic origin of fossilized remains was put forward, which, together with the evolutionary theory, helps to reconstruct the development of life on Earth already in the scientific period.
