Діяльність жіночого товариства «Союз українок» (1917-1938 рр.)

Abstract

Історія фемінізму та прав жінок – це довгий шлях, пов’язаний з труднощами, нерозумінням і легковажним ставленням до жінок, які боролися проти гендерних ролей і стереотипів. Боротьба за те, щоб жінки мали рівні права з чоловіками, триває і сьогодні, і хоча форми цієї боротьби здаються різноманітними, найефективнішим способом є створення громадських і політичних рухів. Об’єктом дослідження є феміністичний рух в Україні. Предметом дослідження є політична, культурно-просвітницька, гуманітарна діяльність жіночого товариства «Союз українок». Мета дипломної роботи полягає у висвітленні, на основі аналізу, узагальнення та критичного осмислення, діяльності жіночого товариства «Союз українок». Для досягнення поставленої мети в роботі ставляться такі завдання: –з’ясувати стан наукового вивчення проблеми, ступінь репрезентативності та інформативності її джерельної бази; – дослідити процес становлення жіночого руху на території України наприкінці ХІХ – на початку ХХ ст.; – проаналізувати історичний контекст розвитку «Союзу українок»; – висвітлити основні напрямки діяльності «Союзу українок»; – визначити вплив товариства на сучасне українське суспільство. «Союз українок» відіграв важливу роль у формуванні національної свідомості українського народу, що мало ключове значення для розвитку громадянського суспільства. Діяльність цієї організації суттєво впливає на різні сфери життя України, зокрема на культурну, освітню та соціальну. Спрямовуючи свої зусилля на утвердження національної ідентичності, збереження культурної спадщини та розвиток національної свідомості, Союз українок виконує важливу місію. Незважаючи на досягнення, організація також стикається з викликами, такими як боротьба з патріархальними установками в українському суспільстві, що іноді призводить до опору їхнім зусиллям у досягненні гендерної рівності. Триваючи в боротьбі з цими викликами, «Союз українок» продовжує впливово та вирішально сприяти просуванню прав та інтересів жінок в Україні, здобуваючи широке визнання та вдячність за свій внесок в українське суспільство та жіночий визвольний рух. The history of feminism and women's rights is a long journey fraught with difficulties, misunderstanding and frivolous attitudes towards women who fought against gender roles and stereotypes. The struggle for women to have equal rights with men continues today, and although the forms of this struggle seem to be diverse, the most effective way is to create social and political movements. The object of the study is the feminist movement in Ukraine. The subject of the study is the political, cultural, educational and humanitarian activities of the women's association "Union of Ukrainian Women". The purpose of the thesis is to highlight, on the basis of analysis, generalisation and critical reflection, the activities of the women's society "Union of Ukrainian Women". In order to achieve this goal, the work sets the following objectives: -to find out the state of scientific study of the problem, the degree of representativeness and informativeness of its source base; - to study the process of formation of the women's movement in Ukraine in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries - to analyse the historical context of the development of the Union of Ukrainian Women; - to highlight the main activities of the Union of Ukrainian Women; - to determine the impact of the society on contemporary Ukrainian society. The Union of Ukrainian Women has played an important role in shaping the national consciousness of the Ukrainian people, which was key to the development of civil society. The activities of this organisation have a significant impact on various spheres of life in Ukraine, including cultural, educational and social. By focusing its efforts on strengthening national identity, preserving cultural heritage and developing national consciousness, the Union of Ukrainian Women fulfils an important mission. Despite its achievements, the organisation also faces challenges, such as combating patriarchal attitudes in Ukrainian society, which sometimes leads to resistance to their efforts to achieve gender equality. By persevering in the face of these challenges, the Union of Ukrainian Women continues to make an influential and decisive contribution to advancing women's rights and interests in Ukraine, gaining widespread recognition and appreciation for its contribution to Ukrainian society and the women's liberation movement.
